Well, look at that...a whole month went by before I updated my blog. My cell phone is on the fritz so I can't post a picture of Evelyn's new glasses. That's one of the new things going on in the Edwards household. She looks so cute in her new specs. She is such a wiz in school (nothing new there) Every day she talks about new things she's learning in kindergarten. Yesterday she told me that she's doing the geometric cabinet. Whatever that is? ** Queue "are you smarter than a kindergardener song** She's also learning the life cycle of a flower :)

Nothing new with Chance. His favorite subject in school is lunch and nap time. haha. Still has a love/hate relationship with the cow.

Isaiah goes from a complete delight at school to complete terror. He's trying out obstinence and it's making his teacher crazy. Depending on his mood, he might refuse to do the fun stuff in lieu of laying on the floor kicking the air. Other days, he's #1 student full of questions. Not sure what's going on with him. We just keep being one step ahead of him. He's excited about being spiderman for halloween and thinks his bus driver is bomb.

Savannah is doing great in full day preschool and hasn't wet her pants at school for 2 weeks. Yah!! I wasn't sure she was going to make it all day at school w/out a nap but Evelyn seems to be the sleepy one in the afternoon.

Trevor has a new girlfriend. Her name is Brandy and they've been inseparable for over a week. She's the first girl he's been interested in past the first date. He likes that she actually eats when they go out to dinner, she better at World of Warcraft than he is, wears slippers instead of shoes, and her parents like him. She's been over for dinner 4 out of the last 7 days and seems nice enough.

Britt and Scott are coming home for Thanksgiving! We're having an early Thanksgiving dinner this year on the 21st instead of Thanksgiving and it'll be a full house as usual. Including Ren's family, we have 29 people coming. It was going to be in the 50s but not all of Daniel's family can come down. His parents will be here and Brandy's family, Jeremy and his girlfriend, Chris and Adrienne, and 6 missionaries plus Cameron (Britt's ex-boyfriend that we can't seem to let go!)

Christopher and Adrienne moved to Omaha after Chris's mission. He's staying with Ren and Adrienne is staying with us. We love them! They add a sort of romantic goofiness to the household. Last night they came laughing into my bedroom with sticks in their noses. Yup...they were waxing their nose hairs. Last weekend Ren caught them coloring with color books in Chris's room. So, they are always good for entertainment. Adrienne reads to the kids and when they're not being clowns, they unload the dishwasher, babysit, and read their scriptures. Perfect "children" haha. Chris proposed a few days after they got here but I don't think they have a wedding date yet. I think they're shooting for January or February. They both just got jobs. Chris is working at Oriental Trading in the call center and Adrienne is working in the men's dept at Kohls

Daniel's nephew, Jeremy, is fresh out of the penitentiary after doing something crazy like 13 years for selling drugs. I gotta hand it to him. He's done a phenomenal job of living a real life and not the life of a drug dealer. Daniel made him a budget and made him a resume and we helped him furnish his apartment and he's working every day that he can get a job. He's working for a temp agency and is struggling to get a steady full-time job. Being a felon puts a big roadblock up to being employed but he's trying really hard.

I'm over half way done with my spanish class and still holding onto my A despite bombing one quiz. I found out yesterday that my profesora also teaches the next class so I'll be able to continue with her to finish out the text book. I really like spanish. I can understand about half of what is on the spanish radio station and the spanish news. I'll be happy when I can understand 100%...
